Michał´s research and teaching are focused on analysis of responsible business in the international context, especially the impact of digitalization and new technologies on social and environmental responsibility of firms and individuals in developing economies. Michał´s research was recognized with prestigious grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Erste Bank Preis, and Jubilee Funds of the City of Vienna. Michał supervised to completion PhD dissertations, MSc and BSc theses, as well as MBA final projects, and teaches seminars on research design and academic writing to assist students who work on their dissertations. Michał regularly serves as a Track Chair at international conferences, and a speaker at scholarly fora. Currently Michał serves as Expert on AI in Research, and the Deputy Head of the Insitute for Hurman Resource Management. 

Before joining the Insitute, Michał served as Research Ethics Officer, Program Director of MSc in International Business, Head of Department of International Business & Management at Nottingham University Business School China campus, and represented that institution at the forum of the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Management Education (UN PRME). Michał received professional training in teaching methods at the Harvard Business School, obtained Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, and was awarded the status of Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
